Representatives of EnergoLesProm and Fraunhofer UMSICHT signed a General Agreement on Partnership

EnergoLesProm LLC concluded a General Agreement on Partnership with the Fraunhofer Institute for Environmental, Safety and Energy Technology UMSICHT. Within the framework of the agreement, the parties expressed interest in carrying out joint work in the field of thermochemical processing of biomass.
Experts of the Kazan company EnergoLesProm LLC have developed and tested a plant for processing and recycling of organic waste to obtain bio-oil and bio-char. The resulting bio-oil is of interest for use as a polyol component in the production of polyurethane foams (PUF).
According to preliminary joint studies on the replacement of the polyol component with bio-oil for the synthesis of polyurethane foam, the project is economically feasible, and a positive outlook for cooperation is expected.
